New at the online shops #1

Who doesn't enjoy browsing through their favorite online shops and looking out for fresh fashion pieces? I do it almost two or three times a week, even though I almost never intend to buy anything

I just love to see, how brands implement the current trends and style them. I often just use this as an inspiration. I think about the pieces I already own and which new pieces I really need and how I can incorporate them into my existing wardrobe. So today here is "episode" one of my new "New @ the online shops" series.

Wer liebt es nicht die Shops seiner Lieblingsmarken nach Neuheiten zu durchstöbern und nach "frischen" Teilen Ausschau zu halten? Ich mache es bestimmt zwei bis dreimal die Woche, auch wenn ich gar nicht vorhabe etwas zu kaufen. Ich liebe es einfach zu sehen, wie Marken die neuesten Trends umsetzten und stylen und lasse mich dadurch inspirieren. Dann denke ich über die Teile nach,die ich bereits besitze und die, die ich wirklich brauche und wie ich diese dann in meine bestehende Garderobe einbauen kann, um neue Looks zu kreieren. Also gibt es heute Teil 1 meiner neuen "New @ the online shops" Serie.

Outfit - Venice Day 3 (His &Hers)

One of my main travel tips: Always take a travel flat iron with you or make sure, your clothes are packed in the right way, so they will not crease and you can wear them straight out of your case. Because I didn't take one on my Venice trip,this was my problem on our third day, because now looking at the pics, the other people might have thought, that it was my lunch break and I was working at an ice cream parlor. And to blame for this is the vest, but my top was too creased to wear it on its own.😂 But with my favorite necklace at the moment and my jeansjacket, I could ease the look, so it didn't look too uniform.

Einer meiner Hauptreisetips: Nehme immer ein Reisebügeleisen mit oder pack deine Sachen so, dass sie nicht zerknittert sind und man sie direkt aus dem Koffer anziehen kann. Das war auch mein Problem an Tag 3, denn wenn ich mir jetzt die Fotos ansehe, müssten die Leute gedacht haben,ich hätte gerade Mittagspause und würde in einem Eiskaffee arbeiten. Dies ist aber der Weste geschuldet, die ich über dem Top anziehen musste, dass zu zerknittert war um es alleine zu tragen.😂 Aber mit meiner momentanen Lieblingskette und meiner Jeansjacke konnte ich den Look noch ein wenig auflockern und sah nicht zu uniform aus.

Fall/ Winter Trends #3 - Extravagant Details

First I wanted to call this trend Statementblouses, but this would only be half the story, because even skirts, shirts and now and then trousers are now decorated with special details. It all started last summer with the 90s-trendwave and  Off-the-shoulder oder Cold-shoulder-Tops and then ruffles, knots and bell sleeves were added and the Statementblouse was created. When it became colder, thicker materials were used and so Statementsweaters were created. When browsing through the onlineshops and the collections for summer and next fall, you can see, that this trend will stay for some seasons,because first, the 80s are coming back and therefore attention is still paid to the accentuated shoulders and second, fashion will stay as feminine as it is today and ruffles can not be missing.

Eigentlich sollte die Überschrift Statementblusen lauten, aber das wäre ja nur die halbe Wahrheit, denn auch Röcke und Tshirts werden jetzt mit allen möglichen Details verziert. Es hat ja bereits letzten Sommer mit Off-the-shoulder-Blusen und ,durch die 90s Trendwelle auch mit Cold-shoulder-Tops, angefangen und ging weiter mit Rüschen-, Schnür- und Knotendetails. Dieser Trend wird auch weiter in den Sommer und nächsten Herbst gehen, wie man anhand der Teile aus den Onlineshops sehen kann. Und es geht in den nächsten Saisons auch vermehrt zurück in die 80s und dadurch liegt der Akzent oft auf betonten Schultern und Oversizeschnitten. Ausserdem bleibt die Mode auch bis in die übernächsten Saison sehr feminin und da dürfen Volants auf keinen Fall fehlen.

Outfit Venice Day 2 - Couture Spring 2017

Today we continue with day 2 of my trip to Venice and at the start of the day with my birthday outfit. Of course the title is just a little joke, but the dress felt a little bit like a couture piece with the embroideries and the tulle.

Heute geht es mit Tag 2 meines Venedigaufenthalts weiter und zum Tagesanfang mit meinem Geburtstagsoutfit. Die Überschrift ist natürlich nur ein kleiner Gag, aber dieses Kleid mit den Stickereien und dem Tüll fühlte sich echt ein wenig nach Couture an.

Bergamo Day 2 - A Sunny Morning & Travel Outfit

Hi! For my birthdaytrip I had a few cities in mind and couldn't decide at first, but during our stay at the Lake Garda one month earlier, we first had planned to make a daytrip to Venice, but then didn't have time for that, so the city was among my favourites. Unfortunatelly there weren't any cheap flights to Venice, so we first went to Bergamo, stayed there for 2 nights and then took the Flixbus to the next city. And on our last morning we were able to see Bergamo literally in a different light in contrast to the super rainy day before. For the 4 hour bus ride I chose a super comfy outfit, wearing a not-so-tight jeans, at least for me, flat boots and a cosy sweater. I'm also wearing my new Biker/Pilot jacket from H&M, which are super popular at the moment and some mirrored glasses for my make-up free face.

Hi! Für meine Geburtstagsreise hatte ich mehrere Städte als Ziel im Kopf und konnte mich erst nicht entscheiden, aber da wir eigentlich schon während unseres Gardaseeaufenthalts einen Tagesausflug nach Venedig geplant hatten, es dann aber aus Zeitgründen nicht geschafft haben, war Venedig dann eines meiner Topziele. Leider gab es keine günstigen Flüge dorthin, daher sind wir zuerst nach Bergamo geflogen und zwei Tage später dann mit dem Flixbus weiter nach Venezia. Während unserer Bergamostadtbesichtigung hat es ja aus Eimern geschüttet, an unserem Abreisetag kam dann aber die Sonne raus und die Stadt wurde uns wortwörtlich noch einmal in einem anderen Licht präsentiert. Für die 4 stündige Busfahrt habe ich natürlich ein bequemes Outfit getragen,mit etwas lockereren Jeans, für meine Verhältnisse zumindest, flachen Boots und einen gemütlichen Pulli. Ausserdem trage ich meine neue Biker-Pilotenjacke von H&M und natürlich eine Sonnenbrille, für mein ungeschminktes Gesicht.

Fall / Winter Trends #2 - Velvet

In my latest Pinterest recap, I already told you about my love for the  current 90s-trendwave. And it was no wonder, that velvet is having a comeback. Even in my teenage years I didn't love that material, because it can look cheap easily and reminded me of the dresses I wore as a child for christmas. Fortunatelly I rather associate crushed velvet with the nineties. When I think of red, green and dark blue velvet, the Renaissance, one of my favorite eras,comes to my mind. See how easy it is, to manipulate your thoughts. 😉

In meiner letzten Pinterestzusammenfassung habe ich ja bereits von meiner Liebe zu dem aktuellen 90s-Trend berichtet. Und da war es auch nicht verwunderlich, dass Samt ein Revival erlebt. Eigentlich war ich schon damals kein Fan dieses Stoffes, da er super schnell billig wirken kann und er mich eher an meine Kleider erinnert, die ich damals als Kind zu Weihnachten getragen habe. Zum Glück assoziiere ich aber eher Crashsamt mit den 90ern. Bei rotem und grünem Samt kommt mir aber direkt die Renaissance in den Sinn, eines meiner Lieblingszeitalter. So kann man sich etwas Unliebsames dann doch noch schön reden. 😉
