Prague - Day 3 - Wallenstein Garden

This will probably be my last post from Prague, because on our third day we left the city, but nevertheless that wasn't the end of our trip, because in the evening we took a bus to travel to Dresden.
The bus took off at 7, so after the castle and the museum 'Palais Lobkowitz', we stopped at the Wallenstein gardens. We were in a hurry, but it isnt't that big, so it was good for a short stopover. The highlight of the parc are definetely the peacocks, which I also felt sorry for, because of the tourists, who came too close to take photos. And also the artificially constructed "grotto" or rather a stalactite wall is very impressive.

Prague - Day 3 - Back to the Castle

So let's return to Prague. We went back to the castle, because our tickets from the day before, were still valid to visit some other buildings. I love visiting museums, so I wanted to visit the Palais Lobkowitz, which is also on the Castle hill (but which isn't included in the tickets and you have to pay, I think an 15 Euros additional entrance fee for a quiet small museum, where you can't even take photos.) That is one thing, that really annoyed me about Prague. Nowhere you can take photos and I ,as a photojunkie, missed that a lot. And I also noticed, that most attractions are overpriced for the stuff they offer, like the Palais Lobkowitz. But first we went to some mini-museum about the history of the Prague Castle ( where you coudn't take photos either) and to the Basilica St.Georg.

Prague - Day 3 - Outfit of the Day

So today i show you my outfit from our third day in Prague. Fortunatelly after two grey days the sun came out. I didn't pack many "summer"clothes because of the weatherforecast and I thought, to better pack some versatile clothes like black, ripped jeans and boots, than running around in summerdresses and sandals and freeze my butt off. And with some colourfull shirts and statementjewellry you can easily create a perfect look. These photos we took at the royal garden at the Prague Castle, because we returned to visit the other buildings, we hadn't seen yet.

Outfit: Tshirt & Jeans: Primark; Necklace: Bershka; Rings: Forever21

Prague - Day 3 - Jewish Museum Part 1

Prag - Day 2 - Night Stroll

 Hi!
...after we ate and drank a lot (here), we walked around the city again for some time. I always notice, I'm such a night person (and my bf too). Even if I know, that I have so much to do the next day, I can never go to bed early. And that's the reason, we allllwaaayyss start the day too late while travelling. Unfortunatelly! But what could be nicer than a night stroll, when all the buildings are illuminated.

Prague - Day 2 - Old town & Brewery

We started our second day started at the castle (part1,part2,part3,part4),then we walked through the Lesser Town and crossed the Charles Bridge. And it was almost evening and we were starving. We had planned to have dinner at a brewery while in Prague, because the city is famous for their beer and food and in every toristguide they recommend many of them. So after we considered and reconsidered, we decided to go to the "U Medvidku", which was one of the recommended ones. But first we walked around the historical centre for a bit and also went to one of Pragues most famous sights, the astronomical clock.

Prague - Day 2 - Charles Bridge

The Charles Bridge is, next to the Prag Castle, THE town's landmark. The night before we stopped there for a minute, but didn't see much in the dark. Then, in daylight, we could see the full splendor and dimension of the bridge.

Prague - Day 2 - Malá Strana

We spent only 3 days in Prague and for sure we didn't see every corner of the city, but of what we have seen, I liked the district below the castle the most, which is called Lesser Town of Prague or Malá Strana. This is how I imagined Prague to be. Beautiful, old palaces with little shops and restaurants along cobblestone roads.
