My Italian Holidays - La Sagra

Buonasera! On all the holidays in Italy before, beach- and openair parties have always been one of the highlights.
But this year, after two disappointing parties,we had to find another evening entertainment and so we took the traditional route. In the summer even in the smallest towns in Italy nice village fairs take place. So one evening we saw on a billboard near our holiday home, that a 'Sagra' was going to take place in the city.
We didn't expect much, but the fair was bigger than we thought. Many snack stands with typical regional food (actually the whole festival was dedicated to regional food), a small market and a concert with music from that region (Pizzica). In the end we had a lot more fun than on the commercial, highly overpriced parties and even danced a lot more.:)
Buonasera!

Hmm,the decision what to eat is more than difficult.:)
Polpette di Polpo - Octopus balls

Panzarotti - Croquettes

I really have to earn some money to built an animal home there. So many adorable pets left alone on the streets. It always makes me so sad. Like this cute one. He used some empty plastic bottle as his toy.
He was so lovely, that I really wanted to take him home. :(
