The Italian Holidays - Auntie's Bday

 Buonasera! Another day, another holiday-flashback. On this particular evening, we celebrated my Aunt T's birthday. She turned sensational 75 years old. At her actual birthday,we went to her house to eat the famous 'Dolci' (desserts/sweets). It's always so difficult to decide, which ones to try. So we literally tried one of each type and they were delicious! We all ate so many, we were almost full. So we went to her favorite restaurant another evening.
//Buonasera! Ein neuer Tag, ein neuer Urlaubsrückblick! An diesem Abend haben wir den Geburtstag meiner Tante T, der Schwester meines Pa's gefeiert. Zuerst waren wir bei ihr zuhause eingeladen, zum Kaffee und Kuchen. Der Kuchen wir aber in Form von 'Dolci' (Süßspeisen/Desserts) gereicht, was die Sache noch abwechslungsreicher macht. Denn jedes Mal aufs Neue ist es eine Überraschung, was für Dolci in dem Paket sind. Wir haben jede Sorte durchgetestet und danach waren wir so satt, dass wir den Restaurantbesuch auf einen anderen Abend verschoben haben.

Das Törtchen bestand aus einem Mürbeteigboden, gefüllt mit Vanillecreme und verziert mit Minibeeren.

If you are ever in Neviano (Italy), it is a must to go to the Caffetteria Manzoni and try some of their 'dolci'!

So another evening we went to my aunt's favorite restaurant 'La Regina'. It is located by the sea on the rocks and has an amazing view on the 'Quattro Colonne' (Four towers).
Später sind wir dann in das Lieblingsrestaurant meiner Tante gefahren, das sich auf den Felsen an der Küste befindet, mit einer super Aussicht auf die 'Quattro Colonne' (Vier Säulen/Türme).

The Italian Holidays - The Parties

Hello. As I told you in my previous holiday post, before the holidays we were so looking forward to go to some nice parties, like we did all the years before. But everything had changed. It all became too commercial and big and we were kind of disappointed. I just edited some photos we took with a small compact camera and thought I could post them too.
Hallo. Wie ich ja schon in meinem letzten Urlaubspost erzählt habe, hatten wir uns vor dem Urlaub ja richtig auf die Parties in Italien gefreut, weil sie in den Jahren davor ziemlich cool waren. Ok, man muss sagen, vor 10 Jahren waren sie am coolsten, dann wurden sie Jahr für Jahr schlechter und hatten jetzt ihren Tiefpunkt erreicht. Kommerzielle Großraumdiscos, wo es null um die Musik und nur um Profit geht. Echt enttäuschend!
Ich habe grade die Fotos von unserer Zweitkamera, einer kleinen Kompaktkamera bearbeitet und dachte, dass ich diese doch auch mal posten könnte.:)
