Berlin Outfit #1 - Barbie Girl

Wie ich ja schon berichtet hatte, ging mein Bdaytrip nach Berlin. Zum Glück hatten wir sehr gutes Wetter und ich konnte mich zum ersten Mal dieses Jahr in ein Sommeroutfit schmeissen und noch nicht einmal eine Jacke mit mir herumschleppen. Den Rock habe ich schon letztes Jahr im Pimkie-sale ergattert, habe ihn aber jetzt das erste Mal getragen, da ich ihn noch kürzen musste. Und mit ihm habe ich sozusagen meine Liebe für lange Röcke entdeckt. So ein Rock ist einfach viel lässiger und unkomplizierter zu tragen und man muss nicht die ganze Zeit darauf achten, wie man sich bückt oder, dass er einem zu hoch rutscht.:) Definitv eins meiner neuen Summer-must-haves. Das Barbie-Tshirt hatte ich bei meinem letzten Primark-trip gefunden und wartete auch seit fast 2 Monaten auf seinen Einsatz.
//Like I told you before, I went to Berlin for my birthday. Fortunately the weather was awesome and for the first time I wore a summeroutfit without carrying a jacket around with me. The skirt I bought on sale already last year, but wore it there for the first time. And with it, I discovered my love for long skirts. It's just so much easier and more uncomplecated to wear, because you don't always have to pay attention how you move or if it slips up to much like a short skirt. For sure a new summer-must-have! The Barbie-shirt I bought at my last shopping trip to Primark and it also waited in my closet for about 2 month to make its first appearance.

Casual Summer

Mal ist der Sommer da, mal wieder nicht....Letzte Woche warn's über 30 Grad. Angenehme Temperaturen für mich. Heute kletterte das Thermometer nicht mal über die 20 Grad-Marke und es kommt mir vor wie Herbst. Aber für den Sommer, der ja hoffentlich bald zurückkommt, habe ich mir im H&M-Sale ein Casual-Outfit gekauft. Ich brauchte noch eine lockere Jeansshorts und diese wird noch durch Strasssteine aufgepimpt. Vielleicht hatte ich es schon einmal erwähnt, aber ich bin ja wie eine Elster. Alles was glitzert muss in mein Nestchen. So war es bei der Shorts und ebenso bei den Sandalen und bei der Kette.
//One day it's summer here in Germany, the other day it's not. Last week the temperature was over 30 degrees and today it is like autumn again and a little cool outside. But I hope summer is coming back soon and so I bought a casual outfit at the H&M-sale. I didn't own loose-cut jeans shorts and these were perfect with the rhinestones, which upgrade the item a lot. As I probably mentioned before, I'm like a magpie. Everything that shimmers has to be brought into my nest.

NYC - Day 4 - Bubba Gump

Nach dem Basketballspiel waren wir so hungrig, dass wir wieder zurück zum Times Square gefahren sind. Denn ein Punkt stand noch auf unserer Agenda. Das Restaurant 'Bubba Gump Shrimp Co'. Es ist eine Restaurantkette, die durch den Film Forrest Gump inspiriert wurde und bereits über 36 Filialen besitzt. Da der Film definitiv zu einem unserer Lieblingsfilme zählt, mussten wir dem Laden natürlich einen Besuch abstatten. Für jeden Forrest-Fan ein Muss! Und mit dem Essen, den Getränken und dem Service waren wir auch recht zufrieden. Als Andenken kann man sich im Eingangsbereich auch noch Fanartikel kaufen, aber da unsere Koffer eh schon aus allen Nähten platzten, haben wir dies dann doch gelassen.
// After the basketballgame, we drove back to Times Square, because we definitely wanted to check out the Restaurant "Bubba Gump Shrimp Company". The restaurant chain is inspired by the movie 'Forrest Gump' and as it is one of our all-time favorite movies, we had to dine there. As a real fan of that movie you can also buy a lot of their own merchandise, like the famous mud-smiley-face-tshirt.
