Jaaaaa, zu meinem Geburtstag am Dienstag ging es nach Loooooondooooon! Doch bevor ich zu der Berichterstattung komme, hier noch die letzten Fotos aus Berlin. Nach dem Museumsmarathon gings dann Richtung Brandenburger Tor. Was wäre ein Berlinbesuch ohne die obligatorischen Fotos vor dem berliner Denkmal No.1. Dann durch eisigen Wind weiter zum Reichstag und weil ich so am Frieren war und noch nicht zurück ins Hotel wollten, sind wir dann wieder zum Alexanderplatz gefahren um ein Geschäft zu finden, das noch geöffnet hatte. Dort habe ich mir noch schnell nen Cardigan und Kniestrümpfe für den altbekannten Zwiebellook gekauft. Und so konnten wir auch noch einen weiteren Punkt auf unserer To-do-Liste abhaken: Die Berliner Mauer.
//Yeeeaaahh, for my birthday on tuesday we went to Loooondooonn! But before I report from that trip, I'll post the last Berlin-pics. After the museummarathon we went to the Brandenburger Tor. What would a trip to Berlin be, without the obligatory photos in front of the main attraction no.1. Then to the Reichstag and because it was sooo soo cold, we had to find a shop that was still open, so that I could buy some clothes for the well-known layered clothing principle. So I bought a cardigan and knee-high-socks and we were ready to do another thing from our sightseeing-to-to-list: the Berlin Wall.
So, in einer Stunde hab ich Geburtstag!(Jaaaa, endlich 18;). Und der nächste Städtetrip steht morgen an. Eigentlich sollte ich ja schon fleißig am packen sein, aber wie immer wird das wohl eine last-minute Angelegenheit.Wo's hingeht bleibt noch ein Geheimnis. Hier ein kleiner Tip.

It's my birthday in an hour (yeees, 18 at last!;) And I'm going on my next citytrip tomorrow. I was supposed to be packing, but as usual I will do it at the eleventh hour. Where I'm going is still a secret, but here's a hint.
Nachdem wir durch das Alte und Neue Museum (alter Post:hier!) gesprintet waren, haben wir uns dann in die Alte Nationalgalerie begeben. Einmal kurz durchgehetzt und ab ins Pergamonmuseum. Die Aufbauten dort sind so imposant, man fühlt sich wie auf einer Zeitreise. Die Grösse des Pergamonaltars kann garnicht durch Fotos erfasst werden. Wirklich unglaublich! Danach kommt man in einen weiteren "Raum" mit dem Markttor von Milet, geht hindurch und kommt zum Ischtar-Tor. Auch für Nicht-Museumsgänger ist dieses Museum wirklich ein Muss bei einem Berlinaufenthalt.
//After we ran through the Old and New Museum (old post:here!), we visited the Old National Gallery first and then went to the Pergamon Museum. The constructions are so impressive, you feel like on a timetravel. The Pergamon Altar is so large, we were speachless. If you enter the next "room" you can walk through the Market Gate of Miletus and you arrive at the babylonian Ishtar Gate. Even if you're not a frequent museum visitor, the Pergamonmuseum is a Must-see during a stay in Berlin.
