Lake Garda - Lazise

Hi! Along the Lake Garda there are so many small, picturesque towns, where you can take a stroll, shop in little boutiques or eat Gelato. One day we visited Lazise, which is located on the eastern lake shore. We drove by a few times and finally wanted to see, what's behind the medieval city wall.

Entlang des Gardasees gibt es einige kleine, pittoreske Städchen, durch die man spazieren, in kleinen Boutiquen shoppen kann oder Gelato essen. Einen Tag hat es uns in das Dörfchen Lazise verschlagen, welches am östlichen Ufer liegt. Wir waren bereits einige Male daran vorbeigefahren  und wollten unbedingt wissen, was sich hinter der massiven mittelalterlichen Stadmauer befindet.

Pink Sonic

A new day - a new mission for my pink coat, this time in Lazise, a small town on the east coast of the Gardalake. I found that coat a while ago at Tk Maxx and for some time I was looking for a "Clueless"-like Statementcoat. Unfortunatelly I can't recommend it,because it has a weak quality, but for a vacation it fullfilled its purpose to wear it some days and take some pics with it.;)

Ein neuer Tag - ein neuer Einsatz für meinen pinken Mantel, diesmal in Lazise, einer kleinen Stadt am Ostufer des Gardasees. Den Mantel hatte ich vor einigen Monaten bei Tkmaxx gefunden, denn ich wollte schon eine ganze Weile so einen "Clueless"-Statementmantel haben. Leider kann ich ihn von der Qualität garnicht empfehlen, aber für ein paar Urlaubfotos hat er gereicht.

Verona - Food Fest

Eating is probably one of the main activities, when you're in Italy and so it was a blessing, that on that day, a food fest took place in Verona. In the afternoon we already looked at some booths and the food, but returned in the evening to eat. Funnily enough there was also a band from the south of Italy and exactly that region, my father is originally from. So we had the possibility to try out many different delicacies like olives (the most expensive ones I've ever eaten), Cannoli, skewers, fried fish etc. and could sway to Pizzica

Essen ist natürlich eine der Hauptaktivitäten, wenn man in Italien ist und so traf es sich gut, dass in Verona auch ein Essensfest stattfand. Nachmittags haben wir uns schon kurz ein paar Buden angeguckt, sind dann aber weitergezogen und kamen dann abends wieder dorthin zurück. Lustig war auch, dass eine Musikgruppe dort aufgetreten ist, die aus dem Gebiet im Süden Italiens war, aus dem auch mein Vater stammt. Und so haben wir dann alle möglichen Leckerein wie Oliven ( die wahrscheinlich teuersten, die ich jemals gegessen habe:), Cannoli, Fleischspiesse, Frittura Mista etc. verdrückt und dabei zu Pizzica mitgewippt.

Verona - After dark & Juliet's House

Verona is mostly known for being the location of Shakespear's "Romeo and Juliet". Therefore there has to be an attraction, all the literaturefans can visit and that's the (alleged) house of Juliet, one of Verona's main sights. And if you are there, don't forget to touch the breast of Juliet's statue in the courtyard.;)

As I mentioned in a previous post, the city is a total artwork, so we walked around for hours, because you'll always find well preserved houses and nice photogenic corners everywhere.

Verona ist weltbekannt, da Shakespear's Romeo und Julia dort spielt. Deshalb ist natürlich auch Julias (angebliches) Haus Sehenswürdigkeit No. 1. und das Anfassen der Brust der Statue im Innenhof gehört zu einem Must-do. 

Wie ich in einem früheren Post erwähnt habe, ist Verona ein Gesamtkunstwerk und wenn man so durch die Gassen schlendert, findet man überall schöne, perfekt restaurierte Gebäude und fotogene Ecken.
