Bonjour! So we started around our hotelarea (see the first part here) and headed towards the main shopping street "Meir", which we crossed a day before, but didn't have time to do shopping. So this day we wanted to check out, what the city had to offer. Our trip was before Christmas and my boyfriend wanted to buy some belgian chocolates as presents, so we went to the beautiful store 'The Chocolate Line' with extravagant sorts located in an old palace the Paleis op de Meir. We also wanted to test some out. We tried 4 different flavours,like bacon and wasabi, but didn't notice any specific difference in taste. But the chocolate is very good I have to mention and it is a wonderful and extraordinary gift idea.

Zuerst waren wir ja ein wenig in unserer Hotelgegend unterwegs (hier gehts zum ersten Teil von Tag 2) und sind dann weiter zur Haupteinkaufsstrasse, der "Meir" weitergezogen und abzuchecken, was die dortigen Geschäfte zu bieten hatten.Und da unser Trip noch vor Weihnachten war, wollte er Belgische Pralinen als Geschenke mitbringen. Einen Tag zuvor hatten wir schon im Vorbeigehen den Laden 'The Chocolate Line' entdeckt, welcher sich in einem alten Palast, dem Paleis op de Meir, befindet. Ich muss sagen, als Geschenk macht sich so eine Schachtel Pralinen schon gut, vorallem weil sie dort so viele verschiedene Geschmacksrichtungen angeboten haben. Wir haben uns auch ein paar Pralinen zum Antesten mitgenommen, weil wir so neugierig geworden sind, wie denn zum Beispiel Speck oder Wasabi schmeckt. Leider konnten wir kaum einen Geschmack wahrnehmen, aber die Schokolade war trotzdem sehr gut.
Then we went to the fashionstores,but didn't buy much, because we have the same stores here in Germany.
