....nach einem kurzen Stop im Hotel haben wir uns dann wieder auf die Socken gemacht und sind quasi einfach immer der Nase nach, von einer Ausgrabungsstätte zum nächsten Bauwerk und so weiter und so weiter...Als wir das
Kolosseum in der Ferne sahen, gabs natürlich kein Halten mehr. Von dort aus gings dann zum
Circus Maximus, wo eine Gruppe von Hippies campte und ein kostenloses Bongokonzert gab. Dann an die Tiberpromenade, mit kleinen Bars und Verkaufsbuden ( und sogar einem Openairkino:) und weiter zur
Piazza Venezia mit seiner berühmten
Schreibmachine.
....after a short break at the hotel we continued our tour with no particular destination, from one excavation to the next imposing structure. When we finally saw the
Colosseum in the distance, nothing could have stopped us. From there we went to the
Circus Maximus, where a group of "hippies" set up their camp and played a bongoconcert for free. Then to Tiber river promenade with little bars and
sales booths (and even an open-air-cinema) and finally to Piazza Venezia with its famous typewriter.
