The Italian Holidays - Pompeii Part 1
Hey. So today a very christmassy post. Not!
I finally managed to edit all the photos from Italy and from the last highlight of our trip: Pompeii!
In the beginning of our stay in Naples, we visited Herkulaneum (and here & here), the "Mini"-Version of Pompeii, but my whole life I wanted to visit Pompeii. If you go there, I recommend to set aside an entire day, because the complex is so big, you have to walk a lot. Even though now I would prefer Herkulaneum,because it's a lot more compressed and maybe a little better preserved, Pompeii has some special things to offer, that you don't see in Herkulaneum, like the Lupanar, some theatres and the Villa dei Misteri. We also recognized some art works, we saw at the Archaelogical Museum of Naples (and here), were most of the original pieces are on display.
Hey. So dann jetzt vor Weihnachten einen gaaaanz weihnachtlichen Post. Not! Endlich bin ich fertig mit der Bearbeitung aller Italienfotos und ich kann die Letzten endlich mal rausknallen. Denn ein Highlight folgt ja dann noch: Pompeji!
Die Stadt ist wirklich größer als gedacht und man sollte sich wirklich einen ganzen Tag Zeit nehmen, um alles zu sehen. Denn es gibt wirklich viiiiel zu sehen und alles ist viel weitläufiger als in Herkulaneum (und hier & hier). Deshalb fand ich auch Herkelaneum sehenswerter, da alles sehr komprimiert ist und einen Tick besser erhalten.
From this moment on I started using a fish-eye lens,but when I started editing the photos, I saw that they were blurred, which I didn't see, when taking the photos.:(
//Das Blöde ist, dass ich ab hier ein Fischauge benutzt habe, aber es die Fotos viel unschärfer gemacht hat, was ich erst im Nachhinein bei der Bildbearbeitung gemerkt habe. Auf dem Display sahen die Fotos nämlich noch schärfer als normalerweise aus.
